Congratulations to Peninsula basketballers Darcey Jones and Corey Hastings from the Southern Peninsula Sharks for their selection to the Under 18 Victoria Country Boys team and emergency selections of Zoe Harvey and Chantelle James from the Frankston Blues selection to the Under 18 Victoria Metro Girls team and Under 18 Victoria Country Girls team respectfully.
Both boys, and if require girls will head to Wyndham’s Eagle Stadium from 10-17 April for the Australian Under-18 Junior Championships.
Southern Peninsula Sharks Under 18.1 Head Coach Ben White spoke about his player’s selections.

Frankston Blues Under 18.1 Head Coach Renay Bresnan spoken her player’s selections.
“It’s not that common to come across a player who shows the level of effort and work ethic that Zoe does.”
“Not only is she driven to improve and succeed individually, but she is an excellent teammate, showing leadership capability beyond her years and setting a good example for younger age groups.”
“Chantelle has remained dedicated to her progress as a player, despite coming off a significant knee injury that has required patience through heavy rehab.”
